PSL Pakistan Super League logo completely justifies the spirit of PSL event. As its Pakistan event so it has a simple texture that shows the dignity and simplicity of our country. Green color is widely used in this logo that shows patriotism to Pakistan. A sketch of bowler in action is also shown in logo having bowling action shadow and foot shadow. It shows the spirit of cricket among cricketers playing PSL.
PSL Teams and logos: Pakistan super league has 5 teams each having unique and eye-catching logo that defines the vision for its team. The teams include Karachi kings, Islamabad united, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta gladiators and Multan Sultans.
Blog Update (Nov-2017): PSL 3rd edition – Multan Sultans
For the last two editions, PSL has been a great success for Pakistan and our Sports industry. It has become one of the few aspects of our country that positively add to our image. There is no doubt that locally and internationally PSL has portrayed Pakistan in the limelight, in the field of sports.
It did come as a big surprise to the diehard fans of PSL, when in addition to announcing the 3rd edition of PSL in 2018, the brand new team of “Multan Sultans” was announced to be the 6th team in the coming-up competition.
The sixth team Multan Sultans will be joining the beloved teams of PSL, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings and Islamabad United.
As the Cricket Operations Director Wasim Akram has joined the team of Multan Sultans and Tom Moody joins the new team as the Head Coach.
Multan is one of the cultural premier cities of Punjab. The logo of Multan Sultans in PSL portrays the liveliness and high spirits of people of Multan with their color theme of shades of green and bright yellow. Moreover, the cricket player in the logo, holding a bat while riding a horse represents the bravery, strength, power and sportsmanship with which Multan Sultans will be joining the Pakistan Super League 2018.
Karachi is the largest city of Pakistan having its significance and importance more than any other city. Karachi is the king of all cities so named as Karachi kings. Its logo has a lion at its center which is considered as the king of the jungle surrounded by blue color. Off course, the king city consists of players that are king in their sports. Blue color shows the confidence level and deep hardworking of the team.
Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan. Islamabad united logo is richly colored with red shades that shows the heat and energy of the team. It has a lion at its center and its written “United We Win”. It’s clearly a message to the nation that we can only be successful if we are united as a nation.
Lahore is one of those cities of Pakistan that truly represents the culture of Pakistan and justifies it completely. Lahore is also known by its dynamic people. Lahore Qalandars logo perfectly defines the bright culture of Lahore as it has a man dancing and stumped wickets. It shows perfect combination of cricket and dancing culture that are enjoyed by Lahori people.
Quetta is a city of strong people having strong fighting skills. Quetta gladiators logo shows the same thing .Its logo has a head gear that’s a symbol of a warrior and gladiator. A strong color combination of purple shade is used in the logo that is considered a color of power. An additional thing in the logo is the slogan” Shane-e-Pakistan” (pride of Pakistan) that shows the true patriotism of people of Quetta. Two bats are arranged instead of swords as its cricket and bat is a weapon of a cricket warrior. This logo seems to be a strong logo among all. The yellow-goldish color on the head gear shows the royalty of the people of Quetta and team associated with it.
Last but not the least, Peshawar, a well-known cultural and traditional city of Pakistan has simple traditional logo. Zalmi means ‘youth’, it’s the team of young Peshawar talent. Its logo contains a traditional turbine with text ‘KHPL team’. KHPL is one of a foundation of KPK that supports KPK youth. This logo is a combination of blue and yellow color .It’s quite simple logo that shows the simplicity of Peshawar people. Their logo shows the spirit of cricket youth with tradition and culture.
